Baby Feel Skin After Putting Facial Masks.

My skin didn't feel this soft for such a long time. After putting the bird nest facial mask which I bought from a lady online and COD in Puchong, I could feel the immediate effect which the mask gave. I feel so delighted by touching my own face. :p

The masks are actually very popular nowadays after it has been showed in a famous Taiwan show, and I even saw a lot selling in the night markets. Some are selling very cheap online (some commented that it might be from China. which I doubt on the quality). I'm getting at RM10 for 3pcs (which is the normal price I guess) probably because I just bought 3pcs to try out only. Due to the conveniences of the COD location, I'm happy to deal that way. But the seller was kind enough to promise me to give me at cheaper price if I can order more in the future.

It's really worth trying. At least I have no regret on using that.

A Hilarious Mail from a frustrated victim of chain mails‏

I received an forwarded email about A Hilarious Mail from a frustrated victim of chain mails‏.
It writes:

I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain letters to me in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and continuing it in 2009 also.......

Because of your kindness:

* I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it's good for removing toilet stains.

* I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle
infected with AIDS.

* Forwarded hundreds of mails but still waiting for FREE DESKTOP, LAPTOP, CAMERA, CELLPHONE etc….

* I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they cause cancer...

* I don't leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and
sometimes I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone will drug me with a perfume sample and try to rob me.

* I also stopped answering the phone for fear that they may ask me to dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill with calls to Uganda, Pakistan, Singapore and Tokyo.

* I also stopped drinking anything out of a Can for fear that I will get sick from the rat faeces and urine.

* When I go to parties, I don't look at any girl, no matter how hot she is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me, then take my kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

* I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl that was about to die in the hospital about 7,000 times... (Poor girl! she's been 7 since 1993...)

* Still open to help somebody from Nigeria who wants to use my account to transfe! r his uncle's property of $ 100 million. So much for trustworthy.

* I have forwarded 35 emails to 400 people hoping that Ericsson or Nokia will send me latest mobile phones but those models are also obsolete now.

* Made some Hundred wishes before forwarding those Ganesh , Tirupathi Balaji pics etc... Now most of those 'Wishes' are already married (to someone else)

NOW IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you do not send this e-mail to at least 11,246 people in the next 10 seconds, a bird will Pee on your head tomorrow by 12:30 PM.

Nothing has happened till now....................... but who knows. So please forward.

I think he/she must be really frustrated and write such an email.

It's actually really ridiculous about the bad things will happen if you don't forward it out. Don't you think so?

Bad Habit Came Back.

My smoking habit came back since half a year ago, and it's worse compared to previous years. One pack can still last me for a few days, but still it's more than what I used to take last time. Sigh.....

Payment from Global Test Market.

I got a cheque amounting RM170++ for the online surveys that I've done for the past one year. Redeemed 1000points which equals to USD50, just to test whether it's the real thing. It happened to be a surprise as I almost forgot about it because I redeemed it for about a month ago. Although it's very little compared to other online survey companies which are paying much higher, but at least I don't have to go to KL town center to get payment from Pay-Pal.

Thanks Global Test Market. :)

4D3N in Bangkok

4D3N In Bangkok

Went for holilday in Bangkok for 4D3N 2 weeks ago, while the H1N1 is widely spread all over the world. It actually doesn’t seems that bad over there.

During our 1st day there, Thailand was having their Buddhist Lent Day festival. No beer can be sold for 2 days. We went to the Palace Temple, and walk along the street full of books, souvenirs and food stalls.

Photobucket
Books stalls. Very cheap and a lot of them. I’ve never seen such long book stalls/fair in Malaysia.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Palace Temple. We couldn’t enter due to the big festival.

Photobucket
The sweet ‘otak-otak’ looked alike desert. Tasty.

Photobucket
Sleeping Buddha. Very nearby Palace Temple. We just walked there from the Palace Temple.

Then we had our 1st dinner there at a big restaurant. They serve super nice Tom Yam and food.

Photobucket
The most yummy Tom Yam we had in 4 days.

Photobucket
Fried Yam Cake. Very tasty too.

Photobucket
Crab meat fried with Chili. Super nice. I love this the most among all the food I ate in bangkok. We can really eat the crab meat pcs by pcs. Not like most of the restaurants serve, which we can only taste a tiny-minny pcs of crab meat debris only.

Photobucket
Grill pork. (Moo-Yarng in Thai).

Photobucket
Thai Satay. We don’t really like it. Not as tasty as Malaysia’s satay.

After the dinner we went to Suan Lam night bazaar for shopping. Bought some staff there as souvenirs for myselves, family and friends.
Had our 1st foot massage there after long walk in front of the night bazaar. The massage was not that nice due to not hard enough.

The 2nd Day, we went to the Floating Market. It’s a great experience, though the goods sold there are expensive compared to the normal market.

Photobucket

After the Floating Market, we went to a Zoo to watch the magic, elephants and crocodile shows. The shows were better than expected. The ticket was not cheap. 500Baht per person.

Photobucket
The smart elephants. We played Football, made funny actions, and played in drama which talked about wars. I was shocked by the bomb they put, with real fire.

Photobucket
Crocodile show. I took videos for the shows. But lazy to upload it here. :p

After that, we went back to town to take dinner.

Photobucket
The fresh salted compressed-cook fish. The fish meat was so fresh and sweet. Behind the fish is ‘Labaduk’. It eat together with fresh vege. A unique dish. But at the end me and my gf ate the chili accidentally and felt hot till we couldn’t talk.

After dinner, we went back hotel room for shower. Then we head to a spa to do Thai massage. The environment there was so comfortable.
Photobucket

The 3rd day, we went to a shopping mall called MBK then Central. Didn’t get anything there, but had my 1st pork burger of McDonald’s. The burger was so yummy compared to ours in Malaysia.
Photobucket

In the evening, we went to Suan Lam night bazaar again. Bought a few more items, and had dinner, and our 1st beer at the food court beside the night bazaar.

During the last day, we just went to the same spa for the Thai massage again. This time, I asked the masseur to be harder. She actually step up on me. I told her not too hard, and she told me just a little bit only because her weight is only 40kg. The process was pain this time. But I could feel my spine immediately loosen after the last step when I put on hands behind my head and she twisted my body to left then to right.

After the massage, we headed to airport to fly back to KL.

I might be going to Bangkok again by end of the year if H1N1 is in control. Or else, probably next year. There are a lot of places where I didn’t have enough time to go.

H1N1 vs Bangkok Trip.

I'm going to Bangkok for vacation on 7th July, while the H1N1 flu is widely spread.

A doctor told us actually we do not need to be panic of the disease. At most quarantine ourselves for a week only to rest well. Hopefully I don't have to go through the tedious body checkup when I get back as announced by government yesterday for those who came in to Malaysia from Thailand and Indonesia.

R.I.P. MJ.

I heard the news from radio when I was on my way go to JB on Saturday. It was really a news to hear that a superstar passed away.

He's the only English star my mum knows. I can't think of any other star who can be as famous as him anymore.

What a great lost! RIP MJ. All of us will miss you, forever....

Long Weekend at Genting Highland.

Just had a long weekend at Genting Highland. Went there for 3D2N due to we got 2 nights stay redeemed with the Genting Points. The place was unexpectedly packed. I thought Malaysia school holiday is over and the place should be quiet. Who knows, Singapore is having their school holiday now. Everywhere was full of people.

On 1st day, we were lucky enough to check in at the check-in kiosk. Or else, We need to wait for at least 3 hours for our turn. We just rest in the room till dinner time, then had our dinner in the First World Hotel lobby cafe. The curry mee there is not as nice as last time when I had 5 years back, and the price is almost doubled up compared to 5 years ago. Actually the food up there are all very expensive. Genting Group and the merchants are really earning fortune.

We watched Terminator Salvation in the Cineplex in First World Plaza. It was freezing cold in the cinema and both of us almost frozen in there since we only wore bermudas and normal t-shirt.

We went Coffee Bean & Starbucks at night to surf internet and enjoy the cold air. It was the best time of the day for me.

The trip was overall good because of the weather there. It's so hot down the hill when we are back in KL. Time flies really fast especially when you are in holiday. Sigh...........

Addicted to Coffee (V.2)

I still feel sleepy after drinking a cup of Nescafe, which I thought it can keep me awake previously. Think I must be too tired due to fall asleep at almost 2am every night this week. I'm bushed.

My Tarot Card.

You are The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

Addicted to Coffee.

I never thought of I will addicted to coffee because I don't like hot drink. Recently, I drink a glass of hot coffee almost everyday. It's hot because there is no ice in my office. :p

There is no specific brand of coffee which I choose, as long as it's good in taste and the aroma is good. But I'm only buying Old Town cane sugar (less sweet) white coffee at the moment. If I don't want to feel sleepy thru out the day, I'll drink Nescafe, provided by my office, which can last me 12hours without feeling sleepy. Drinking the rest of the brands don't help to get rid of my sleepiness.

From an article I found from internet, studies indicate that coffee reduces the risk for diabetes and Parkinson's. You can read the full article in http://www.healingdaily.com/detoxification-diet/coffee.htm

Not only that, you can find a lot of articles about the good and bad about coffeee by just typing "Is coffee good for health?" You can find thousands of studies about it.

Working Attitude.

Working attitude of youngsters nowadays is really getting worse. In my office, they can shout got a lot of work to do, but never see them stay a little bit late to finish it up. Furthermore, their 'a lot' of work doesn't really mean a lot. It's just their working pace is too slow. Slow like...I can't finish the same task using only half their time. They don't fully utilise their working time, come to office late, and go back sharp at time. Rude to say that, but their working attitude is really suck!! And this actually not only refer to the youngsters only, but those in their 30s as well.

I heard from my sisters that they have colleagues actually clearing their medical leave. They used up their whole 14days of medical leave every year. I really don't understand why people can be so irresponsible.

Change of Career Path?

One of my bosses offers me a position to be a sales person in my company. I'm doing documentation, project service coordination work and a little bit of sales coordination work. This offer is totally different from what I am doing. My boss think that it's such a waste to let me just sit on the position I'm holding because I'm so well verse of my company's products and services, I can interact with people, and I can work well with my Sr.Sales Manager. He asked me to have a serious thought about it and let him know.

After a night's thought, I think I'm going to turn down the offer, and let my boss know what's my expectation to the company while I'm still working here. Hope everything is going fine after this.

Save the Earth?

Everybody is talking about save the earth, and don't use plastic bags. But I have one question: If we don't use plastic bags, how are we suppose to pack and throw our rubbish?

People talk about planting more trees to save our earth. I just read an article on the internet last night. There are scientist mentioned that if our global temperature increase for another 2 degree celcius, the trees may produce CO2 instead of O2. So, planting more trees doesn't guarantee to save our earth.

Badminton = Body Aching.

I didn't play badminton since Aug last year, till last Sunday. Had one hour session with bf, and end up whole body aching now. Guess really too long didn't do any aggressive exercise since I left gym.

Playing badminton is very expensive now. RM22 for the court, and the shuttlecocks cost around RM50-RM60 per tube. It's totally different from when I was small. The court rental is either free, or cost RM2-RM5 only per hour. No wonder there are more and more people invest in opening the badminton courts.

Anger Management.

I think my temper is getting worse especially when I drive. Possibly because of there are too many nuisance drivers around. They can actually drive at 40-60km/hr at right lane on a so-called highway where no other transport in front of them, and never bother to see their rear and side mirrors. I don't know they just ignore your flash of headlight to ask them to go into left lane, or they just never notice. So in order to get rid of those ignorant idiots, I just horn them.

I believe that if without those nuisance drivers, we won't have such a bad jam all the time.

2 days ago, I was just imagine, if there are drivers who came down from their car and tell me that I shouldn't horn them, I might just took out a steel stick and hit on his/her head. :P
Deep breathing............................Phew........................

24 Hours a Day Is Not Enough.

Having 24hours a day is definitely not enough for me. Just take example of yesterday. I reached home from office at 8.20pm. After taken a zinger burger which I bought from KFC drive thru on my way home in less than 10min, It's 8.30pm. Then I start ironing 6sets working clothes of 2 persons while watching Bones on TV, it's already 9.30pm. After taken bath at 9.50pm, I need to continue working in front of my PC at home again till 12.15am. Then I cleanup myself and facebooked for a while till 1am, and collapse to my bed and fall asleep almost immediately.

I don't even have time to do my laudry and clean the house or do any readings. Work is getting more and more, and life is definitely getting harder. :(

Tonight, I brought back some work to do at home. If I don't do that, I won't have enough time to settle my work in the office. Wish I can have at least 6hours more a day to get my work done and have more time to sleep. Sigh.....

Best Ice Kacang I ever had.

JB(Taman Pelangi to be exact) Ice Kacang is the best that I ever had. After trying for the 1st time few years back, the rest of the ice kacang are totally out from my list.
It's just the traditional ABC. Not that I don't like the new type of Ice Kacang which you can easily find everywhere nowadays with fruits, but I just prefer the traditional one more. I love the ice, which is so fine, which I think you can hardly find it in the normal ice kacang in any other place. The corns, the red beans and the chocolate syrup that they add on top of the ice, which make it taste so perfect!! I just can't forget about it. Everytime I go down JB, it's the 1st food that I usually ordered.

Yummy!!

The 'yau-char-kuai' taste good too. It served with rojak paste.

A Different Annual Company Dinner.

Well, this I suppose to post up last month but I was too lazy to blog nowadays. Too lazy until a friend who used to set my blog as his favourite in his blog, but now taken out my blog address from his. :(

My company had a totally different company dinner this year in January, before the Chinese New Year. We used to had our annual dinner in the Chinese restaurants, or hotels. But this year, as one of the 2 organizers for the dinner, we decided to have something different this year. With the approval from the Bosses, we happily planned to go up Bukit Tinggi for our BBQ dinner on the hill. Since we didn't invite the customers and suppliers like we used to do it, we persuaded our Bosses that we have the budget and pay for all the expenses like meals and accommodation for all staff and even for the family and partners.

We reached there by noon. Had our bowling games, and then check in to the hotel, and had our 3 simple tele-match games. Me and another organizer was shouting in the games till our voice gone. It was so fun, but our throats....so poor us. After the games was free & easy, and waiting for dinner time.

Everyone was so enjoyed it because we didn't need to entertain the customers and suppliers like we had to do in previous years. We just sit back and enjoy our food and drank among ourselves only. The food was better than we expected. As usual, we still had colleagues got drunk. Everyone drank as much as they liked as we didn't need to drive back home this time. It was so nice drinking liquor on a cooling hill. I had wine only that night, almost a bottle I think. Just nice for me to go sleep at night.

Although everyone was really loved this type of annual dinner, but me and another organizer don't think we will plan for this again next year. At least not the 2 of us who plan for everything again. With all the hustles and problems that we need to settle especially in working out the fees to please everyone, we were so tired. Eventhough we pleased everyone, but one time is enough.

The next day, we went to visit the Botanical Garden, The Japanese Tea House, and the Rabbit Park. It was quite disappointing especially the Botanical Garden, with nothing to see down the hill after a long walked. My Bosses and their family and a few colleagues who went down before us wanted to cheat us and told us it was beautiful down there, worth to see, eventhough it's tiring. Luckily I asked some strangers who just came up from the Garden about whether is there anything to see down there. After told by them that there were only trees around, I turned back to head to the Japanese Tea House. :P

There was nothing much in the Japanese Park neither. Then we headed to the Rabbit Park. Surprisingly, Rabbit Park was the best among the 3 places.

Chinese New Year!

Today is the 4th day of the Chinese New Year. Unlike previous years, I didn't really eat any of the cookies and mandarin oranges. I fall sick (the usual fever, flu and cough) since 6th Jan, till now. Luckily fever has gone. But the running nose and cough just don't want to leave me alone. :(

I spent the 1st day of CNY in KL, then drove back alone to Perak on the 2nd day. Luckily there was no jam, but a lot of cars on the North South Highway. Able to meet my sisters, and my brother who need to go out Singapore at night for work. They canceled their friends meeting schedule and stay at home to chit chat with me. Love them so much!!

On the 3rd day, I drove back to KL alone again. It was raining almost all the way, and took me almost 3.5 hours to reach KL(Normally it's a 2.5hours journey). It was a tiring drive due to my running nose which cause me felt so sleepy, and yet I need to concentrate so much due to the heavy rain.

3 more days to go before I start work. Think really need to get good sleep/rest. Hopefully I can recover before I start work.

Not to forget: HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to everyone!!

New Year Resolutions.

I seldom set any New Year resolutions because I don’t really plan for things that I have no confidence to achieve. In recent years, my only new year resolution was 2 years ago: to lose at least 5kg by joining the gym for a year, which I was managed to achieve the goal successfully.

In 2009, as usual, I don’t have any resolutions, but I have plans for a few vacations. Probably to Bangkok and Korea this year, if financially allows (hopefully). By having free accommodations from bf’s company in his business trips, hopefully I can make it to oversea again this year, since the Bali trip in 2008 New Year was my last vacation.

But 1st thing before I go anywhere, I should go renew my passport which will expire in June 2009. There goes my RM300. It's so unfair because our passport is just valid for 4.5 years only instead of 5 years as stated. :(

Happy New Year!

It's been almost half a month past New Year. I didn't have any celebration on eve(as usual as in recent years), and didn't even really realize it was the Eve on that day.

So, for those who I've forgotten to wish them on Eve, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!! May the coming year fill with more joy, wealth and happiness!!
