Christmas Eve.

Most of the people must be partied out there with friends. But I decided to stay at home with him and watched Hong Kong series drama, had tit bits and drank Vodka with Blackcurrant.

I drank almost half of the Vodka by myself, and online for a while till 2.30am. End up: I had upset stomach and vomited this morning to clear the alcohol in my body/stomach to make myself feel better. What a Christmas!! :P

Yummy!!

People must be thinking: This girl must be real fat(if without seeing my pic or real person) since most of her blogs are about food. Yup!! I love to eat, although need to control a lot now. But I just love to share the nice food and places with other people. It's kind of selfish if I just keep it to myself isn't it? :P

This round..I'm gonna talk about......Japanese food. I always like Japanese food, especially sashimi.

I used to go to the Japanese buffet at Center Point Bandar Utama-Momo. But since I need to control my diet, I gave up buffet. So, I changed port, to Sakae Sushi. I just love their soft shell crab. Cheap and yummy. Slurp......For those who don't like raw food. This is a very good option.

Beef Sukiyaki. I just like the beef, not the soup. :P

Winter of Lunar Calendar.

I made the traditional 'tong yuen'(made form rice flour) on last Saturday on the Chinese '1st day of Winter'(If I'm not wrong. :P). It's has been years I didn't make this, since I came out to KL, like...11 years ago. In fact....I was just helping my mum to prepare it this time. Haha...

We just made a simple one. Used peanut butter jam and just wrapped the jam inside the plain 'tong yuen'. Then cook it with green bean soup. Looked a bit ugly, but it tasted incredibly yummy. Hehe...

Tong Yuen before cooking. It looked a bit like the small bird eggs to me. :P

Sherlock Holmes.

I finally finish reading the 're-published' version of Sherlock Holmes series of 10 books in Chinese, including the bibliography of the writer late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Spend more than half a year of reading that series due to I did most of the reading in the wash room. :P

I started reading about the stories of Sherlock Holmes when I was in primary school. I knew the stories are very famous all around the world, but didn't know that the writer was so famous in contributing in wars. He was a doctor, but didn't really have interest in that. He's more interested in writing, and giving speech I guess at his later age. And he was very into religion too. He rather gave up his prestigious titles

He respects women. In the book it mentioned that he was quite pampered his children. The only time he slapped his son after they had grown up was when they were in a train and his son criticized about an ugly woman. I was really impressed about that.

The next book I'm going to read is 'Sweetheart From Hell' by May-Zhee Lim, a very young talented writer. Don't know how long I will take to finish the book this time. Haha...

Diabetes.

I just bought a blood glucose checker Accu Check for my dad after dinner just now. His blood sugar level is extremely high since last year. Since then, my mum doesn't allow him to take any sugar. I bought the aspartames for him to make coffee, and for my mum to do some cooking which sugar need to be added. Now, he is drinking a few types of tea to try to reduce his blood sugar level.

My grandma had diabetes before she passed away. We expected a few in our family will get that too. Now, my dad and my 2nd uncle got it already. Don't know who will be the next. :(

I love sweet thing very much. Although I cut down a lot sweet thing since I start keeping fit. I really can't imagine if one day I can't eat anything contain sugar anymore. No cakes, no ice cream, no chocolate, no sweet soup...etc. I think my life will be so meaningless. :(

Freshkon.

I just got a letter from FreshKon about I am one of the 300 lucky FreshKon Club member who get a special promotion of buy 1, get 1 free for FreshKon color contact lens. This is the 2nd time in this year (actually it's the 1st 2 times in my life) I 'won' such prizes. The 1st one was from a Chinese famous magazine . I won 1 set of Bio Essence day and night anti-freckles cream worth RM250. I was just trying my luck the 1st time, while I had nothing to do. Didn't expect I was really so lucky to win that. And this time, I was just joined the FreshKon club member when I was browsing about color contact lenses.

I just purchased 1 year supply of my normal contact lens last week actually. I am actually very interested to get color contact lenses, since I never try to make my own eyes looked in different color. Didn't bought it last week due to the price was higher than I expected. Since I got this voucher now, I will definitely buy it this time. :P

Long live Subang Parade.

I came out to study in Subang SS15 since 1996. The nearest shopping center for us during those time was Subang Parade, when Sunway Pyramid was not yet opened. I used to go there with my apartment mates for shopping, and to the TGIF there for drinks/meals. I have quite a lot of memories from there.

The 'old' Subang Parade was a really old shopping center. I actually once expected it to be closed down soon, since the business was 'half dead'. The deco there was almost the same over 10 years time, until recently after they have renovated Parkson Grand. They changed the floor tiles, having flea market every Sunday. I'm not sure how good is the business for the shops there now, but the whole place seems to be happening again.

I went there last weekend and happened to see that they have Christmas decoration, just like what other shopping centers do. They actually have a band on the stage in the center of the Christmas decoration too, just like The Curve. Think it is alive again, after the down time for all these years.

Long live Subang Parade. :)

I quit gym!

I've joined the gym for one year already. Been very discipline for one whole year. Attend my favourite classes (Basically just kickboxing and hip-hop) every week. Recently, they changed the instructor, who is teaching line dancing funk now in the class, which I don't really like, and they cancel the kickboxing class of December. So I decided to quit the gym, since my 1 year contract is going to expired on 8th this month.

Hope that I still can maintain my figure and fitness after I quit the gym.
Au revoir Tropic Fitness!

I think I should go back to swimming from now on. Need to get a new swimming suit as the one I have is too old already, and the bikini is too sexy to wear it in the condo. :P
